Die Govett-Brewster Art Gallery zeigt zeitgenössische Ausstellungen. Der nahe gelegene Pukekura Park bietet botanische Gärten und eine reiche Vogelwelt. In der Rhododendron-Saison sind die Parks und Gärten von New Plymouth wunderschön anzusehen.
