Puke Ariki ist ein kombiniertes Museum und eine Bibliothek in New Plymouth auf der westlichen Seite der Nordinsel. Sie wurde im Juni 2003 eröffnet und ist ein Zusammenschluss der New Plymouth Public Library und des Taranaki Museums.
Sein Name, Māori für “Hügel der Häuptlinge”, stammt von dem Māori-Dorf, das früher an dieser Stelle stand. Puke Ariki verfügt über drei ständige Ausstellungsgalerien, die sich mit der Geschichte, dem Taonga und der Natur der Region befassen, sowie über Wechselausstellungen.
