Das Lake Matheson Motel wurde 1988 von den Halseys gebaut: George, Dorothy und ihrem Sohn Robert. Seitdem wurde das Motel umfassend renoviert und um weitere Unterkünfte erweitert. Es befindet sich aber immer noch im Besitz der gleichen Familie. Die 21 Zimmer bestehen aus King Bed Studios, Spa Bath Studios und Familienzimmern mit zwei Schlafzimmern. In allen Zimmern gibt es kostenlosen Tee, Kaffee (Instant und Plunger) und Milch, elektrische Heizdecken und Konvektoren, unbegrenztes kostenloses WiFi in allen Zimmern und Fernseher mit Freeview-Kanälen. Der Motelkomplex ist von großen Rasenflächen mit Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien umgeben, die von allen genutzt werden können, und verfügt über eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschinen, Trocknern und Bügelmöglichkeiten. Tragbare Grills sind vorhanden.
