Mission Estate ist ein mehrfach preisgekröntes Weingut und ein Wahrzeichen Neuseelands im Herzen von Hawke’s Bay. Es wurde 1851 von französischen Missionaren gegründet und ist damit das älteste Weingut Neuseelands. Es beherbergt ein unvergleichliches Erbe und bietet ein elegantes, liebevoll restauriertes klassisches Ambiente, herrliche Ausblicke sowie eine erstklassige Küche und Weine.
Mission Estate ist seit langem für die Herstellung preisgekrönter Weine bekannt. Eingebettet in die Taradale-Hügel liegt das Weingut nur zehn Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Napiers entfernt. Es ist jedoch von Hügeln, Ackerland und dem Weinberg umgeben. So scheint dieser historische Ort weit entfernt von der Hektik der Stadt zu sein.
Die atemberaubenden restaurierten Gebäude werden gerne für Hochzeiten und Veranstaltungen genutzt. Das parkähnliche Gelände, der Weinberg, die von Bäumen gesäumte Auffahrt, die gepflegten Gärten und der unterirdische Fassraum bieten unzählige schöne Fotomotive. Und die Küche serviert moderne neuseeländische Gerichte aus frischen, saisonalen Produkten auf hohem Niveau.
